Bess Nkabinde is one of the 11 Justices of the Constitutional Court of South Africa. She was appointed to that in January 2006 by the former President Thabo Mbeki. She was a Judge of the High Court since 1999. Between 2000 and 2005 she acted as a Judge of the Labour Court, Labour appeal Court and Supreme Court of Appeal. She has delivered papers at different fora at home and abroad. She served as a member of the Sub-Committee on Racism and Sexism in the SA Judiciary. Bess Nkabinde was the chairperson of the Rules Board for Courts of Law since 2005 until December 2014. Before her elevation to the Bench she served as director of different commercial entities. Born in 1959 at Tlokweng –Silwerkrans (North West Province), she is married and has four children. She matriculated at Mariasdal High School (Tweespruit - OFS) in 1979 and later in 1983 and 1986 obtained a BProc degree (University of Zululand) and an LLB (University of the North West), respectively.

Mike Makwela is the School Aid Project Manager and his role involves the development, implementation, and monitoring of School Aid libraries in South Africa. His primary responsibilities include identifying appropriate recipient schools, organising and providing library facilities and infrastructure where there are none, participating in the recruitment and arranging training of school library assistants, liaison with schools, relevant government departments, other partners and NGOs/NPOs and SASA Directors and SAUK office, and working with and mentoring local volunteers.
